You ready for the 3-year Catch-Up?

Hey! Long time, no see. Busy with stuff, you know how it is (don't you?)

I intend to rectify it though. So prepare for a tour-de-force in catchin' up with last few years' activities in the next few posts on this blog.

Quick summary of what to expect:

  • I continued to sketch in my lovely garden, which as you already know, I call my Giverny. I'll show you my sketches and you can also commission full paintings or buy the (already very!) popular cards in my shop.

  • Once the pandemic restrictions lifted, I started traveling again. Love that and I highly recommend (even if bones, and especially muscles, are not as young as they used to be). A few plein-air sketches below, and check out my upcoming posts for the fun stories behind the drawings! With recommendations as to where to go, what to see and how long it will take you to get there.

  • I've done drawing courses for both kids and adults. Geometry of perspective sketching, plein-air lessons, summer camps. One semester course during the fall of 2023 was particularly interesting and fun, as I combined architectural history with drawing for a grade 10 cohort. Here's some exercises we did together:

photos.... actually, this is too good to post here, I'll explain later.

  • And then I've recently joined the Ottawa Society of Botanical Artists and I'm soooo excited about it. Already did a few sketches with them, some plein-air, and will certainly continue expand

Now, if that hasn't piqued your interest, I don't know what would. So be sure to check back and see the expanded posts on all of these projects! Stay very very tuned...
